Does Technijian support both on-premises and cloud servers?

Yes. We manage the full spectrum: on-premises physical servers (Dell, HPE, Lenovo), on-premises virtual servers (VMware vSphere, Microsoft Hyper-V, Azure Stack HCI), Azure Virtual Machines, AWS EC2 instances, and hybrid environments spanning on-prem and cloud. Our Pod team manages your entire server infrastructure regardless of where it runs. What is your disaster recovery RTO and RPO?

Our standard DR SLA provides RTO (Recovery Time Objective) of less than 4 hours and RPO (Recovery Point Objective) of less than 1 hour for critical systems. This means if your server catastrophically fails, we restore full operations within 4 hours using data no more than 1 hour old. We achieve this through daily incremental + weekly full backups, SQL transaction log backups every 15-60 minutes, offsite replication (Azure Site Recovery, Veeam Cloud Connect, or Datto), and quarterly DR testing where we actually restore the entire environment and document the results.

How does Technijian handle server patching?

We follow a structured patch management process: Microsoft Patch Tuesday patches are tested in a staging environment, then deployed to production within 7 days. Critical security patches and zero-day vulnerabilities are assessed within 24 hours and deployed within 48 hours if rated critical. Third-party application patches follow vendor release cycles. All patches are documented with rollback plans. Patching windows are scheduled during off-hours to minimize business impact.

Can Technijian migrate our servers to Azure or AWS?

Yes. Cloud migration is a core competency. Our process: (1) Cloud readiness assessment — evaluate which workloads should migrate, which should stay, and which should be retired. (2) Cost analysis — compare on-prem TCO vs. cloud pricing with reserved instances. (3) Architecture design — right-size VMs, configure networking, plan DR. (4) Migration — typically over a weekend with zero or near-zero downtime using Azure Migrate or AWS Migration Hub. (5) Optimization — right-size after 30 days of actual usage data. Most 3-5 server migrations complete in a single weekend.

Does Technijian provide SQL Server management?

Yes — in our Enterprise Infrastructure tier. SQL Server management includes: automated backups (full + differential + transaction log), point-in-time recovery capability, index maintenance and statistics updates, performance tuning and query optimization, Always On Availability Groups for high availability, database mirroring and log shipping, capacity monitoring and growth planning, and security hardening (encryption, auditing, access controls). We support SQL Server 2016 through 2022, and Azure SQL.
